Femi,Made and Seun : Future of afrobeat

Once again its carnival time at the New Afrika Shrine as afrobeat fans worldwide converge to celebrate the life and works of Nigerian music legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.The event tagged Felabration has been on for quite a few years,and this year has even extended to the United States where a Broadway musical is said to be in the offing.

My expectation this year is to see Femi and Seun Kuti jam together on stage, and top it with a rendition of BBC ('big blind country').However a thrilling week is already assured,with the confirmed participation of King Sunny Ade,Lagbaja, SSP,amongst others.
